Monticello Lioness Club Update

The Monticello Lioness Club was chartered in April 1981. There were 17 members, Sharron Rosenstiel was the first President and they met at Lena Graff’s bar. They first started having white elephant events, then they had a few quilt auctions. So this means the club is now 40 years old but as of June 30, 2021, we will be closing our doors. We are unable to use the Lions International liability insurance or the Lioness logo anymore.
Over the past 40 years, the club has run the food stand for homecoming, had a craft show in the fall, and lately sold flowers for Green Haven in Monroe. We...
