On Tuesday, May 25, the Belleville Wildcats baseball team hosted Waterloo. The teams were pretty evenly matched until the fifth inning when Waterloo pulled away for the win. The final score was Waterloo 7, Belleville 3.

Ryan Downing was 4x1 at bat, scoring 1 run, while Anthony Nolden was 3x1 at bat, scoring 1 run with 1 RBI. Andrew Ace scored 1 run.

Trevor Syse struck out 6 from the pitcher’s mound, giving up 4 runs on 7 hits, while Kaden DeSmet struck out 1 and Aiden Keyes gave up 3 runs on 1 hit with no strike outs.

The team hosted Wisconsin Heights on June 1st, which is also Parent’s Night, and played at Cambridge on June 2nd. On June 3rd they will play at Marshall.
