Lois A. Eastman

Lois A. Eastman, age 84 of Fennimore, formerly of Belleville and Ridgeway, WI, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 16, 2021, at her residence in Fennimore. She was born on July 18, 1936, in Lawton, ND, the daughter of Kenneth and Alice (Olsen) Sandlan. Lois was united in marriage to Harold Eastman on October 21, 1967, in Oregon, WI.

Lois graduated from Oregon High School and one year later enlisted in the United States Air Force. After being Honorably Discharged, Lois worked in the office for Olds Seed Company in Madison for several years. Making their home in Belleville, she loved raising her family. She later worked for Graybar Electric in Madison, New Glarus Foods, until being employed at Menards in Madison until her retirement. Lois enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. She was proud of her family, her home; and liked gardening, knitting, crossword puzzles, and traveling the United States.

Lois is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years, Harold of Fennimore; two children, Melodia (Allen) Lammey of Goodman, MO, and Rick (Andrea) Eastman of Madison; two grandchildren, John Lammey and Jacob (Chee) Lammey; and three great-grandchildren, Presleigh, Dayler and Channing Lammey; six siblings, Ila Haynes of Kasson, MN, Ron Sandlan of Madison, Kenneth Sandlan of Willseyville, NY, Carol Sandlan of Madison, Dennis Sandlan of Madison, and Daryl Sandlan of Madison; along with many special nieces and nephews.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents; two infant children, Jeffrey and Cynthia Eastman; grandson, Jeremiah Lammey; and two brothers, Don and Keith Sandlan.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. noon, on Friday May 21, 2021, at the Larson Family Funeral Home in Fennimore, with burial to follow in the Hillside Cemetery in Lancaster. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home on Friday morning.
