Freshman Wildcat runner Carter Scholey competed at the State Meet in Janesville on May 8th.

Although Carter Scholey is a freshman, he has the drive and work ethic of an upperclassman. Carter was the only individual to qualify for the boy's race as a freshman, as well as representing one of the smallest schools still competing this spring.

The State meet, held in Janesville at the Blackhawk Golf Course, consisted of all 3 divisions running together, with no designation at the end for awards. Carter placed 23rd out of a field of 76, and finished with a season best of 16:39. Well done, Carter!
