Richard A. Kittleson

Richard Allen Kittleson, age 80 of Belleville, passed away on Sunday, April 11, 2021, surrounded by family and wonderful care givers at Agrace HospiceCare, Inc. after a long battle with cancer. He was born on November 15, 1940, to his parents, Stanley and Luella (Valstad) Kittleson.

Richard grew up on a farm outside New Glarus and graduated from New Glarus High School in 1958, and later completed his certifications through the UW Graduate School of Banking. He was united in marriage to Darlene Paulson on June 15, 1963, at the York Memorial Lutheran Church. Richard spent thirty-five years serving the bank customers in Belleville. He was dedicated to his community and served on the First United Church of Christ Council, New Glarus Home Board of Directors, and Sugar River Senior Center Board. Dick was proud to have assisted in bringing the UW-Health Clinic and Duluth Trading Co. to Belleville. He was also a member of the Belleville Community Club and the Edelweiss Chalet Country Club. Dick enjoyed many golf and ski trips across the country, and had coached little league. He was also an avid supporter and ticket holder for the University of Wisconsin Badgers. Richard and Darlene enjoyed spending time with family and friends at their cottage on Lake Wisconsin. A perfect day always ended with watching the sunset over the lake.
