New Glarus senior Nathan Streiff catches his 100th career reception during Friday night's win over Poynette. Nathan is the all-time leading receiver in school history and is the first receiver to break 100 receptions in a career. In total, Streiff caught 12 passes for 187 yards and a pair of scores in the victory. Through two weeks, he leads the state in receptions and receiving yards.
On a 29-degree evening that looked and felt every bit like November, the Friday Night Lights show made its long awaited return to the New Glarus gridiron. It has been a long and painful hiatus. And what a show it was! Weather and date notwithstanding, this game would not be subject to any April Fool's chicanery.
