New Belleville Library and Community Center Opens
March 18, 2021
The new Belleville Public Library and Community Center at 20 S. Park Street, across from Library Park, opened on March 17, 2021. The opening is planned to be a phased opening with limits initially and visitors are asked to check the monitor in the lobby. A maximum of ten people may be in the library to pick up holds. Access will be restricted to the hallway and central portion around the circulation desk. Everyone is asked to remember to maintain physical distancing and wear a facial covering over your nose and mouth to help keep all of us healthy. Hand sanitizer will be available. Please don't come inside if you have any COVID-19 symptoms. Curbside delivery will be offered for those who cannot wear a facial covering or prefer that option. As part of opening, the Library will resume pre-COVID hours of Monday-Thursday, 9:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m .; Friday, 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m .; and Saturday, 9:00 a.m.-Noon.
