Dear Editor,

Faun Marie Phillipson is an excellent choice for Green County circuit court judge. Faun’s professional legal experience and wide range of knowledge make her exceptionally well-qualified. She has a deep understanding of the many facets of the law, a keen perception about people, a sense of fairness, plus a wholehearted dedication to public service.

Her roots run deeply in the county, which is why she chose to return home to run her successful private practice. She has volunteered her time by serving on numerous boards as well as assisting the Green County Family Law Legal Clinic, the Green County literacy project, and served as a coach of the New Glarus Mock Trial Team.

I’ve known Faun for the 13 plus years I’ve enjoyed having my work home in New Glarus. I know her to be smart, dedicated, independent and scrupulously fair. While I cannot vote for Faun in April because I live in Madison, I am writing to let you to know why I would cast my ballot. She truly is best for the job as she possesses the deep regard for and knowledge of the law, and the temperament and judgement required to be judge.
