The Monticello Lady Ponies hosted Barneveld on February 12th for a WIAA D5 Sectional game. Monticello was seeded #2 for the tournament while Barneveld was seeded #3. Barneveld held a single point lead at the half, 24-23. The final score of the game was Barneveld 45, Monticello 36.

"Proud of the team. 11-4 overall record is very good," said Coach Mark Gustafson. "Seniors provided leadership and played with composure all year long. The 3 weeks between our last game and the Barneveld game hurt our timing and shooting. I felt like we were really laying well before we were shut down."
