Belleville's Alyssa Caskey drives in for 2 of her 19 points against Cambridge.

On Friday, January 29th, the Wildcats traveled to Cambridge to take on the Blue Jays. The game saw the Wildcats come out of the gate slow, which led to them being down 31-25 at halftime. After some changes in the locker room, Coach Pharo said the team came out with renewed energy and erased the 6-point deficit within the first two minutes of the second half. Unfortunately, the Wildcats were not able to keep up this intense focus and pressure which allowed the Blue Jays to shoot 54% for 2-point field goals. The Wildcats had their chances in the final seconds, missing a couple shots and an important free-throw, which allowed the Blue Jays to escape with a 59-56 victory.

The Wildcats had a terrific performance from junior Alyssa Caskey, who had 19 points and 11 rebounds to lead Belleville. Ava Foley and Mickey Stampfl also chipped in 15 and 8 points respectively for the Wildcats.

Belleville will wrap up their regular season this week with three games on the road, traveling to Poynette on Tuesday, February 2nd, to Just A Game Fieldhouse in Wisconsin Dells on Thursday, February 4th, against Marshall, and to New Glarus for their final conference match-up of the season on Saturday, February 6th.
