The Monticello Lady Ponies played at Black Hawk on January 21st. Black Hawk held a 55-17 lead at the half and outscored Monticello in the second to win the game. The final score was Black Hawk 87, Monticello 25.

Mackie Errthum scored 8 points and had 4 blocks and 9 rebounds to lead Monticello in scoring. Alexa Siegenthaler scored 7 points with 3 rebounds and Ellie Gustafson scored 6 points and had 7 rebounds.

On January 23rd, Monticello played at Belmont. Monticello trailed by 1 at the half, but came back in the second half to win the game by a single point. The final score was Monticello 49, Belmont 48.

Leading Monticello with 13 points was Mackie Errthum, who also had 9 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 6 blocks. Ellie Gustafson and Alexa Siegenthaler each scored 12 points. Gustafson had 9 rebounds and 2 steals while Siegenthaler had 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 1 steal. Harley Disch scored 10 points and had 2 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals.
