Dear Editor:

While I am sitting here on the ward (which by the way is filled with natives in varying degrees of illness and injury) with nothing to do because of the competency of the native Registered Nurses and nurse’s aids. I thought perhaps you back in the Stateside might like a bit of a description of the Island of Cebu.

My arrival here was by C-37, my first plane ride. I was thrilled beyond words, and I find it quite hard, in fact almost impossible, to describe the sensation of flying, by means of words. It must be...
