Knights Win Over Dodgeville, Waterloo, and Poynette

On Monday, January 11th, the New Glarus Knights boys basketball team hosted Dodgeville. The Knights held a 10-point lead at the half and went on to win the game. The final score was New Glarus 63, Dodgeville 48.
Leading New Glarus in scoring with 18 points was Mason Martinson, while Dain Walter scored 15 points and Carter Siegenthaler scored 11 points.
On January 14th, New Glarus hosted the Pirates of Waterloo. New Glarus held a commanding 26-7 lead at the half and while Waterloo scored only 4 points less in the second half, New Glarus held on for the victory. The final score was New Glarus 63, Waterloo 40.
Dain Walter led New Glarus with 17 points while Darris Schuett scored 10 points and Carter Siegenthaler put 9 points on the board.
On January 16th, the Knights played at Poynette. The Knights held at 7-point lead over the Pumas going into the halftime break, and held on to that lead to win the game. The final score was New Glarus 69, Poynette 59.
Leading New Glarus with 20 points was Dain Walter, while Nathan Streiff scored 16 points and AC Strok scored 15 points.
The Knights hosted Wisconsin Heights on January 19th. They will play at Cambridge versus Marshall on January 23rd and will host Darlington on January 25th.
