BTC Students Inducted into National Society of Leadership and Success

Twenty-five students were recently inducted into the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) at Blackhawk Technical College. Blackhawk students with a minimum GPA of 2.5, at least six credits completed, and/or demonstrated student leadership on campus were invited to be inducted. NSLS is the largest leadership honor society in the U.S., with more than 700 chapters and 1 million members.

The National Society of Leadership and Success, referred to as NSLS, was founded in 2001 by Gary Tuerack to help individuals discover and achieve their dreams by building leaders who make a better world. The NSLS provides members with tools for action, inspiration to hold them accountable, and motivation to achieve their goals.

Clarke University Announces Fall 2020 Dean’s List

Royce Clark, Belleville, and Lillian Himmelmann, New Glarus, were named to the Dean’s List at Clarke University for the Fall 2020 semester. The list recognizes full-time undergraduate Clarke students who have earned a 3.65 grade-point average or above, on a 4.0 scale, with a minimum of 12 graded hours.

UW-Stevens Point Undergraduates Honored for Scholastic Achievement

The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point honored more than 2,600 undergraduate students for attaining high grade point averages during the fall semester of the 2020-2021 academic year. Full-time undergraduates who earned grade points of 3.90 to 4.0 (4.0 equals straight A) are given the Highest Honors designation. High Honor citations go to those with grade point averages from 3.75 to 3.89 and Honor recognition is accorded to those with grade point averages from 3.50 to 3.74. Personalized certificates of scholastic achievement are being sent to those who earned highest honors distinction. Students who received honors include: Jacob Larsen, Albany, Sophomore, Honors; McKenna Overland, Albany, First-year, Honors; Hailey Stefanik, Albany, Junior, Highest Honors; Amanda Lettman, Belleville, Sophomore, High Honors.

Area Student Named to Dean’s List at UW-River Falls

The University of Wisconsin-River Falls fall semester Dean’s List honoring 1,995 students has been released by Registrar Kelly Browning. To be named to the Dean’s List, a full-time undergraduate must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 on a scale of 4.0, or midway between an “A” and “B” average. Anna Kachel, Monticello, Animal Science, Accounting, has earned a spot on the Dean’s List.
