Lady Knights Win Over Lodi and Belleville, Lose to Edgewood

Shealyn Klosterman-Havens scored 11 points in the Knight's win over Belleville.

The New Glarus Lady Knights played at Lodi on December 14th. New Glarus was leading by 3 at the half and won the game, 46-43.

Leading the team with 11 points was Jaylynn Benson, while Grace Nommensen, Lindsey Schadewalt and Shealyn Klosterman-Havens all scored 8 points each.

On December 17th, New Glarus hosted the Lady Crusaders of Edgewood High School. Edgewood had a 10-point lead at the half and while New Glarus spent the second half trying to overcome that deficit they were unsuccessful and lost the game. The final score was Edgewood 54, New Glarus 39.

Lindsey Schadewalt scored 18 points for the Lady Knights, while Alex Atwell and Jaylynn Benson scored 7 points each and Shealyn Klosterman-Havens scored 3 points.

On December 19th, the Lady Knights hosted the Lady Wildcats from Belleville. New Glarus was leading 39-14 at the half and won the game. The final score was New Glarus 63, Belleville 29.

"It was a good day today! Not just an important conference win! But an important moment for our program!" said Coach Kevin Parman. "This team is meshing and owning our team philosophy! They are trusting and working together as one! I'm very proud of them. And lucky to be their coach."

Jaylynn Benson scored 21 points during the game to lead the Lady Knights, while Shealyn Klosterman-Havens scored 11 points and Lindsey Schadewalt scored 10 points.

The New Glarus girls hosted Argyle on December 21st. They will host Lakeside Lutheran on December 28th and play at Monroe on January 2nd.
