Ms. Larissa Brigham, a graduate of New Glarus High School, was recently awarded a scholarship from the Wisconsin Foundation for Vision Awareness (WFVA) and the Wisconsin Optometric Association (WOA) to be used in the pursuit of her doctorate degree in Optometry. This award is presented each year to a select few optometry students who are originally from Wisconsin and are student members of the Wisconsin and American Optometric Associations. Selection is based on academic performance and ability, character, leadership and interest in the profession of optometry.
