The Monticello Lions held their first ever Pack-A-Sack event Saturday, December 5th. We delivered the bags on Tuesday to all households and picked them up on Saturday.

We collected over 3,000 pounds of food, plus over $300 in cash. The Lions picked up the bags, weighed and sorted them at the shelter house and took them to Green Cares Food Pantry.

Thank you to all community volunteers for helping us with the sorting and delivering to the food pantry. Your help was very much appreciated. Many hands made lighter work. Thank you for the generosity of the community residents. Monticello is truly a community that "Cares and Shares".

The Monticello Lions Club next community event will be the "drive-thru" pancake/cheese curd breakfast on Saturday, May 1st, 2021.
