Stout Foundation Scholarship Program Awards More Than $870,000 in Scholarships

Scholarships valued at more than $870,000 were awarded to 394 University of Wisconsin-Stout students this academic year through the Stout University Foundation Inc. Lauren Christen, Belleville, Dietetics, has been awarded the Alan J. and Ellen E. Carlson Scholarship and the Dwight and Linda Nyhus Davis Scholarship.

The students received the awards during a fall virtual scholarship reception, which replaced the traditional on-campus event because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Heittola to Play Basketball at Bemidji State University

Rachael Heittola, a sophomore from Belleville majoring in Exercise Science at Bemidji State, will participate in NCAA Division II basketball for Bemidji State University during the 2020-21 season. Heittola is a forward/center for Bemidji State’s women’s basketball program this year.
