Duppler-Smith Post 460 American Legion recently received a large donation from a woman from Belleville whose husband passed away a year ago. The man was a Veteran, and although he was not a member of our local organization, they have lived in the area for years. She wanted to donate in his memory, stipulating the money be used for a building renovation fund so our meetings and events will continue for the community.

A building fund has been started and we will accept donations in the future if any individuals, families or business organizations would care to donate to this endeavor. We will not publish names or amounts but we will acknowledge with a thank you receipt. Simply send your check to American Legion, 2 West Pearl Street, PO Box 455, Belleville, WI 53508, with “building fund” listed on the memo line.
