Outdoor Movie Nights in Monticello

The Monticello Public Library is excited to present several more Outdoor Movie Night events on Wednesday, September 30th, around 7:00 p.m., Saturday, October 17th, around 6:30 p.m., and Wednesday, October 28th, around 6:00 p.m., in the parking lot of Zwingli United Church of Christ. The parking lot will open one hour prior to the film beginning. Zwingli Church is located at 416 E. Lake Avenue, right next to the library. Drive or walk in to watch the film. You can bring your own seat if you wish.
Rated G, the classic film being shown on September 30th is about a duo of actors famous during silent movies who try to stay popular during the transition to talking pictures. The movie being shown on October 17th is about a little league team from Mexico who wins the Little League World Series in 1957 and is rated PG. The film on October 28th is rated PG and is about a boy who is accidentally transported to the Land of the Dead where he asks for help from his musician ancestor to be returned to his family and reverse the family’s ban on music.
Zwingli United Church will be running a concession stand of pre-packaged snacks and drinks, but feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks.
Please be mindful of other participants’ spaces and wear a mask when walking about.
