Dear Art: Well it’s about time I wrote to you again. I haven’t been shipped out yet—I guess the reason I didn’t ship is because the war was over when I got back to camp. I want to say hello to all the home town people and hope they are all fine. I ran into Leon Shervin, he is at the south base and I’m at the north base. We had a good time together.

I get the paper every week, Art, and I want to thank you and everyone who helps send it to us boys in service.
