On Saturday, August 1, 2020, the New Glarus Fire Department held their Kalberwurst Dinner. Normally the dinner is held in the Spring but had to be cancelled due to COVID-19.
The first Saturday in August is usually FireFest but in order to keep every one safe, that festival too was cancelled.
After much consideration, the New Glarus Fire Department came up with a plan to hold the first ever drive thru Kalberwurst Supper.
