University of Dubuque Announces May 2020 Graduates
For the first time in its 168-year history, University of Dubuque held virtual commencement ceremonies to celebrate the accomplishments of over 350 graduates on May 16, 2020. Since the campus could not gather in-person because of the pandemic, UD officials held virtual commencements for undergraduate and graduate students in the Class of 2020 on the original date for May Commencement. Kayla Schween, New Glarus, earned a Master of Arts in Mission and Discipleship.
Kriebs is a May 2020 Graduate of Upper Iowa University
Upper Iowa University is pleased to announce that Amy Kriebs, Belleville, graduated in May with a Master of Business Admin degree in General Management Emphasis.
Local Students Among Graduates at UW-Eau Claire
The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire awarded 1,441 degrees in May. Of the degrees awarded, 1,414 were received by students attending the Eau Claire campus and 27 were received by students attending UW-Eau Claire - Barron County. Local students who received degrees and their fields of study are: Parker Alsteens, Belleville, Arts and Sciences, Bachelor of Science, Geology, Eau Claire campus; Andrew Vetter, Belleville, Arts and Sciences, Bachelor of Science, Biology, Eau Claire campus; Sadie O’Leary, New Glarus, Arts and Sciences, Bachelor of Music, Music, Eau Claire campus.
Local Students Selected to University of Minnesota Twin Cities Dean’s List
The following students have been named to the 2020 spring semester Dean’s List at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. To qualify for the Dean’s List, a student must complete 12 or more letter-graded credits while attaining a 3.66 grade point average. Students from our area honored on the Dean’s List include: Krista Diaz, Belleville, Senior, College of Liberal Arts; Justin Knoebl, Belleville, Sophomore, College of Educ/Human Development; Rachel Knoebl, Belleville, Senior, College of Biological Sciences; Noah Morrick, Belleville, Senior, College of Design; Aimee Kujak, New Glarus, Sophomore, College of Liberal Arts.
