Upper Iowa University Announces 2020 Spring Dean’s List

Upper Iowa University has announced the Dean’s List for the 2020 spring semester. To be honored, a student must have earned a minimum 3.50 grade point average for the semester and be enrolled as a full-time student. The honored students included Aimee Sies, Brooklyn; and Jessica Deegan, Brooklyn.

UW-La Crosse Announces Spring 2020 Dean’s List

The following area students have been named to the Dean’s List at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse for the spring semester of the 2019-20 academic year, ending May 2020. Qualification for the Dean’s List is limited to students who have attained outstanding academic achievement. To be eligible, students must have earned not less than a 3.5 semester grade point average and carried a minimum of 12 credits. Students on the Dean’s List from this area include: Kassi Heins, Albany, Exercise and Sport Science Major: Exercise Science - Pre-professional Track; Emily Flick, Belleville, Communication Studies Major: Interpersonal Communication Emphasis; Sydney Gentilli, Belleville, Exercise and Sport Science Major: Exercise Science - Pre-professional Track; Taylor Halvensleben, Belleville, Psychology Major; Kailey Hodel, Belleville, Finance Major; McKenzie O’Connor, Belleville, Political Science Major; Caden O’Rourke, Belleville, Exercise and Sport Science Major: Exercise Science - Pre-professional Track; Maya Severson, Belleville, Early Childhood through Middle Childhood Education Major; Brandon Winder, New Glarus, Statistics Major.

UW-Stevens Point Undergraduates Honored for Scholastic Achievement

The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point honored more than 2,660 undergraduate students for attaining high grade point averages during the spring semester of the 2019-2020 academic year. Full-time undergraduates who earned grade points of 3.90 to 4.0 (4.0 equals straight A) are given the Highest Honors designation. High Honor citations go to those with grade point averages from 3.75 to 3.89 and Honor recognition is accorded to those with grade point averages from 3.50 to 3.74. Students who received honors include: Hailey Stefanik, Albany, Junior, High Honors; and Isaac Smith, Monticello, Junior, Honors.

These students have demonstrated their academic abilities by receiving a grade point average of 3.4 or above in a single semester.

University of Iowa Announces 2020 Spring Semester Dean’s List Honorees

More than 8,500 undergraduate students at the University of Iowa were named to the Dean’s List for the 2020 spring semester. Guidelines for inclusion on the list are: Undergraduate students in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, the College of Education, the College of Engineering, the Tippie College of Business, and University College who achieve a grade-point average (GPA) of 3.50 or higher on nine semester hours (spring 2020) or more of UI graded coursework during a given semester or summer session and who have no semester hours of “I” (incomplete) or “O” (no grade reported) during the same semester are recognized by inclusion on the dean’s list for that semester; Undergraduate students in the Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine with fewer than nine semester hours (spring 2020) of graded credit, if deemed appropriate by the college; College of Nursing students participating in clinical courses who have a total of nine semester hours of earned credit (spring 2020), with eight semester hours of graded credit with a GPA of 3.50 or higher. Students from our area honored on the list include Christian Arnett, New Glarus, Environmental Engineering; College: College of Engineering; Leah Blask, Belleville, Communication Studies; College: College of Liberal Arts and Sciences); and John Chenoweth, New Glarus, Journalism and Mass Communication; College: College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.

Northern Illinois University Announces Spring 2020 Dean’s List

Northern Illinois University has announced its Spring 2020 Dean’s List students. To earn this distinction, students must meet a minimum semester grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale in the College of Engineering and Engineering Technology or a minimum of 3.75 on a 4.0 scale in the colleges of Business, Education, Health and Human Sciences, Liberal Arts and Sciences, and Visual and Performing Arts. The student from our area who achieved this honor is Noelle Maire, Albany, ELE: Biomedical Engr-B.S.
