This past weekend, Monticello resident Suzie Siegenthaler created a post in the Monticello Comes Together Facebook group stating, “Since the graduates of 2020 are not able to have their ceremony on the 23rd, we at TRAC Trucking are donating our time, trucks and trailers to give these guys a parade through town. Please note this is not a town or school function. All students will be 6 feet apart during the parade. Please spread the word and come help cheer, support, and wave on the class of 2020!”

The Monticello High School class of 2020 is asked to meet at 1:00 p.m., on Saturday, May 23rd, at East Lake Avenue and Adams Road (CTH EE). The parade will begin at 1:30 p.m., travel west on East Lake Avenue and then head north on Main Street, ending in the area of the fire department.
