Monroe Clinic Now Offers Radiation Therapy, Welcomes Radiation Oncologist

May 7, 2020

After months of construction, Monroe Clinic’s oncology department now occupies its new home on the lower level of the clinic building, accessible via its own entrance. In addition, the department is now able to offer an important service for cancer patients, radiation therapy.

“For the peace of mind of our patients, we are very happy to now offer radiation therapy,” said Erin Daniels, Director of Oncology Services. “Offering this service in Monroe means our patients and their family members don’t have to drive great distances for high quality radiation therapy.”

Monroe Clinic’s radiation therapy is provided by a brand new, state-of-the-art linear accelerator. The oncology department’s new area also provides 10 new medical oncology treatment rooms, a private entrance and its registration desk.

In addition to the new service, Monroe Clinic Oncology welcomes a new Radiation Oncologist to the team.
