UW-Extension Green County Announces Hours Open During COVID-19
April 9, 2020
As a Division of UW-Madison, Extension Green County employees are working with and following guidance from Campus leadership. To help limit the spread of the COVID-19 virus, UW-Madison employees are required to telecommute and not work from a shared office space such as a county building. This directive was put into effect on March 16, 2020.
With a “safer-at-home” order now in effect for all of Wisconsin, our staff is producing resources across our program areas to help those all over Wisconsin. We will collect and link these resources as they are available. Many of the resources have been posted on our website at http://www.green.extension.wisc.edu and will continue to be updated. Tools for small businesses, farmers, and those looking for financial support have already been produced and given to educators to help the public. You are encouraged to follow along with Extension as we share the latest resources as they pertain to the COVID-19 outbreak and how Extension is responding as well as the following website: https://fyi.extension.wisc.edu/covid19.
Support staff are working at the office in Monroe, however have no face-to-face contact. You can contact the support staff with questions or to pick up or drop off items, just call the office at (608) 328-9440. If you need to contact one of the educators, you can call the office and the support staff will relay the message to the appropriate educator to contact you back. You may also email the educator with your needs. Educators may be reached at the following email addresses: Ellen Andrews, 4-H Youth Development Coordinator, ellen.andrews@wisc.edu; Victoria Solomon, Community Resource Development, victoria.solomon@wisc.edu; Jackie McCarville, Agriculture Educator, jackie.mccarville@wisc.edu; or Donna Peterson, Nutrition Coordination and Educator, donna.peterson@wisc.edu.
We thank you for your patience as we go through this trying time.
