Blue Star Banners Given by Belleville Duppler-Smith Post 460 American Legion

The Blue Star Service Banner was designed and patented in 1917 by World War I Army Capt. Robert L. Queissner of the 5th Ohio Infantry. Today, the Blue Star Service Banners are displayed by families who have a loved one serving in the armed forces, including the National Guard and Reserves of all military departments.
Starting this year in 2020, the Belleville American Legion will present to any family in the Belleville area a Blue Star Banner who has a son or daughter serving in the military. Please inform any American Legion member, or notify the Post of an eligible candidate for this aw...
