The Monroe Cheesemakers co-op hockey team played their final regular season game at McFarland on February 11th. The two teams were evenly matched and with a 3-3 tie at the end of the third period, went into OT where the Spartans scored a goal and won the game.

Ryan Molitor put Monroe on the board first when he scored a goal in the first period. In the second period, Cade Janecke, assisted by Hayden Roth and Payton Stauffacher on a power play, scored, putting Monroe up 2-0. However, McFarland scored two goals in the second to tie it up 2-2.
