Belleville Food Pantry Receives Donation

A donation of $760 was recently presented to the Belleville Food Pantry. This contribution was made possible through a locally designated allocation resulting from the Belleville Area CROP Hunger Walk that took place last fall. The check was presented to Food Pantry representative Karen Stremikis (right) by CROP Hunger Walk participant Donna Christen (left).
CROP Walk events raise funds for hunger relief around the world, with 25% of the proceeds being used for local needs. Participants in the walk were members of First United Church of Christ, Grace United Methodist Church, Primrose Lutheran Church, St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and community members. The next CROP Walk event is scheduled for Sunday, October 18, 2020.
