Raiders Finish in Top Five at Capitol Conference Tournament

February 13, 2020

On February 8th, the Sugar River Raiders hosted a conference meet in Belleville.

“The Raiders did a great job on Saturday! Despite wrestling eight wrestlers, the team ended up in 5th place out of 10 teams,” commented Coach Pete Swenson. “I am very pleased with the team’s effort! This creates great momentum going forward into regionals for many of the wrestlers. Also, to have this in front of the home crowd made it that much for special for our outgoing seniors Brian and Robbie. Both wrestled really tough!”
