Roger's first calling as Pastor was at Bethesda Church (now Ridgeway Church) where he served from 1970 to 1974. He then served as a youth and college and career pastor at Madison Gospel Tabernacle (MGT), now City Church, from 1975 to 1988. Roger followed in his father's footsteps as a painter for a few years until answering the call to serve Grace Church in New Glarus in 1993, where he has served until his death. As a Pastor, Roger loved to officiate weddings and funerals, spreading love and giving hope to those left behind. Roger always made it a priority to celebrate, connect, and support his grandchildren; he also enjoyed playing his guitar.
