Recently the New Glarus Post Office experienced some route changes and reassignments. Because of that, their coverage area increased and required more space for their delivery vehicles. As a result, the Postal Service requested and the village board approved two stalls of reserved parking for their exclusive use. These stalls will help in the loading/unloading of the route vehicles and provide overnight space for their vehicles.

The two stalls are located on Railroad Street, directly to the east of the post office building, along the east side of Railroad Street. The two stalls have been marked with reserve parking signs for their designated, marked postal vehicles only. Parking in the stalls by non-postal vehicles will result in a $20.00 parking fine for the violator.
