On January 6th, the New Glarus Lady Knights basketball team played at Mineral Point. Down at the half by 10, New Glarus stepped it up on offense in the second half but couldn’t hold on for a win. The final score was Mineral Point 68, New Glarus 60.

“Knights struggled to keep Mineral Point’s guards from getting into the paint,” commented Coach Kim Burton.

Jaylynn Benson led New Glarus with 25 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists while Ellie Eichelkraut scored 12 points, Lily Himmelmann put 12 points on the board and had 4 rebounds and 4 steals and Brooke Watrud pulled down 8 rebounds....
