On Tuesday, January 7, with friends and family in attendance, Monticello Police Sgt. Larry Harkey was presented with a Quilt of Valor. Susan Levan-Green of the Sugar River Quilts of Valor Foundation presented the quilt, Kenlyn Walmer and Leaora Miller (behind the quilt) displayed the quilt for the audience. Harkey was visibly moved by the presentation and commented that he was "honored and humbled."
