The Wildcats played 3rd ranked in Division 3 Lake Mills on Friday. The game was much closer than the final score would have indicated. With 13:43 left in the second half, the game was tied at 44, but the Wildcats couldn't keep up their intense defense and Lake Mills started raining down 3-pointers. The final score ended up being Lake Mills 82 and Belleville 60.

Leading scorers for Belleville were Erin Kittleson with 17, Callie Smith with 12, and Jenna Shrader with 9. Callie Smith led the Wildcats in rebounds with 15.

On Saturday, the Lady Wildcats faced Division 3 Lakeside Lutheran in another tough match up. Coach Pharo knew that it was going to be a tough task to gets the girls fired up to play back to back games, and he was right. The Wildcats came out flat and Lakeside took advantage of it building a 19-point first half lead, but after two timeouts the Wildcats finally got their legs under them and trimmed the deficit to just 6 points at the half. The energy coming out in the second half was good and Belleville was able to tie the score with about 6 minutes to go, but unfortunately they missed a shot to take the lead and Lakeside came down the court to make a 3-pointer. After another turnover, Lakeside made another bucket extending their lead to 5 points, and during the final 4 minutes of the game Lakeside was able to run out the clock leaving a final score of 54-46.
