Dear Editor,

Once again you all came through for a successful Blood Drive on December 27th! We were challenged to a goal of 70, and with four donors doing double-reds, we attained a great production totaling 69. To quote Angie, the Charge Nurse, “It’s always a pleasure when we come here!” I think they like the cheese, sausage, and cookies!

Of course a huge shout out to all who helped as donor room aides, greeters, and the super kitchen crew: Ruth Anderegg, Sara Siegenthaler, Bill Kuenzi, Mark Yaun, Dan Wells, Dennis Orr, Eloise Kuenzi, Rebekah Henson, Jeanne Henson, Cindy Yaun, Alyssa Wells, Joyce Hensen, Marge Klassy, Lynette Reed and Dianne Barr. And without all the food donors, no one would come in the door! So super New Year hugs to all of you: Cookie Makers, etc. Karen, Cindy, Jeanne, Lynette, Joyce, Alan and Iola, Patti Elmer, Lynette Reed, New Glarus Bakery, Nancy Marty, New Glarus Hotel, Dan Wells, Irenne Henson, Ried, Klassy. Followed up with the wonderful cheeses and sausages from: Glarner Stube, Edelweiss Cheese, Maple Leaf Cheese, Alp n Dell Cheese, Hoesly’s Meats and also Ruef’s Meats. New Glarus Dairy’s great milk!
