The New Glarus girls basketball team played two games on the road last week. On Monday, December 9th, they traveled to Dodgeville and on Saturday, December 14th, they were in Barneveld.

At Dodgeville, the Lady Knights were down by 8 at the half, but pulled through to win the game. The final score was New Glarus 49, Dodgeville 45.

Dylan Noll led New Glarus in scoring with 16 points and she pulled down seven rebounds. Brook Watrud played outstanding defense and added 7 points, seven rebounds and three assists. Shealyn Klosterman-Havens played with a lot of heart throughout the game contributing 9 points, nine rebounds and two steals.

At Barneveld, New Glarus was ahead by 18 at the half and went on to win 61-31.

Jaylynn Benson had 22 points, seven rebounds and three assists to lead the team while Dylan Noll scored 10 points, and had four rebounds, Shealyn Klosterman-Havens hit three 3-pointers for 9 points, Lily Himmelmann added 4 points and seven rebounds and Ellie Eichelkraut had 9 points.

The Lady Knights will host Palmyra-Eagle on December 19th and Cuba City on December 30th before beginning their new year on the road at Mineral Point on January 6th.
