Agrace Opens New Hospice Memory Care Suites

Community Invited to December 9 Ribbon Cutting, Open House in Fitchburg

November 28, 2019

With more than 40 years of experience caring for people in south central Wisconsin who are in the final months of life, Agrace HospiceCare now has the capability to care for patients who require additional support for their memory care needs in a safe, secure, home-like environment.

In mid-December, Agrace is opening 12 Hospice Memory Care Suites at its Madison-area campus in Fitchburg. The community is invited to tour the unit during an open house at Agrace, 5395 E. Cheryl Parkway, on Monday, December 9, 2019, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Fitchburg Mayor Aaron Richardson and members of the Fitchburg Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony at 4:15 p.m.

The suites are for people who are enrolled in hospice with Agrace and choose to pay to live at the Agrace campus rather than at home. Patients with memory care needs will feel comforted by the Suites’ intentional design features, including continuous circulation paths, calming artwork, ample views of nature and access to a secure outdoor courtyard.
