Around fifty teams competed in this competition, and Monticello was fortunate to have four members place in the top ten individually. Harley Disch placed 10th; Carter Wirth, 5th; Natalie Roe, 2nd; and Cade Femrite won the contest with 347 out of 400. Along with these outstanding individual results, the Senior Team, consisting of Cade Femrite, Natalie Roe, Harley Disch and myself, won the contest, earning 999 points. We were excited to see such high scores carry over from this summer's Wisconsin FFA State Land Judging Competition, where Cade, Natalie, Harley and I qualified for Nationals.
We are looking to continue with this same success next May, at the National Land and Range Judging contest in Oklahoma. Congratulations to all who competed at this event.
