On Tuesday, October 22nd, the New Glarus volleyball team, who was seeded #9 for the regionals, traveled north to take on #8 seeded Deerfield in the first round of WIAA regional play. The Lady Knights won it in 5: 25-20; 18-25; 17-25; 25-21; 15-4.

Senior Lola Gillaspie had 9 kills and 4 blocks. Freshman Grace Nommensen had 3 blocks and 28 assists. Junior Alexah Mellenberger had 7 kills, sophomore Emma Marty had 3 blocks, sophomore Ellie Eichelkraut had 4 aces and senior Brooke Watrud had 8 digs.
