Green County Youth Excel at State 4-H Horse Expo

Six youth from Green County participated in the 2019 State 4-H Horse Expo, held September 13-15 at the State Fairgrounds in West Allis, WI. In order to participate at the State 4-H Horse Expo, Green County youth need to earn a blue ribbon in their class at the Green County Fair in July. Participants were Kalley Joe Crouch (Next Generation), Abbygail Foster (Next Generation), Kloie Huffman-Heins (Juda Jolly Juniors), Jerzie Lerch (Juda Jolly Juniors), Courtney Montgomery (Browntown Busy Beavers), Emma Nelson (Clarence Bridge Pioneers) and Madalynn Smith (Juda Jolly Juniors).
Kalley Joe Crouch and her horse, Ashton, placed 3rd in the Trail, grade 12-13 class.
Kloie Huffman-Heins entered in the photography division and placed 3rd for both a Still or Non-Action photo and a Horse-Related photo, grades 9-13.
Emma Nelson and her horse, Claire, earned 1st Place in the Pleasure Driving Horse, grade 6-13 class. She and her horse also earned 3rd place finishes in the Cones - Driving Draft or Light Horse grade 6-13 class and the Reinsmanship Horse grade 6-13 class.
