The former pastor of Zwingli United Church of Christ in Monticello, Larry Balleine, continues to write. After preparing well over two thousand sermons during his forty years as a pastor, he now focuses on creating non-fiction articles for theological, travel and outdoor journals. Recently, however, he attempted fiction. The result is a novella called Entertaining Angels.

The brief novel zeroes in on change and loss experienced by a Wisconsin dairy family and moves toward a restoration of hope that comes as a result of a visit by a stranger.
