The Sugar River boys soccer team opened their season with a win at Dodgeville on August 27th. The final score was Sugar River 1, Dodgeville 0. Sugar River had 22 shots on goal while Dodgeville had 7. The goal came from a free kick, Charlie Douma assisting Faber. GK Julian Lutz had 8 saves.
On August 29th, the team played at Beaver Dam. The final score was Beaver Dam 4, Sugar River 2.
