It’s almost here! The Friends of the New Glarus Library is having their book sale this Sunday in the Village Hall Community Room. An opportunity for me to find some reading material to last through the winter at below bargain prices.

Where else am I going to find hard cover books, some fairly recent, for $1.00, or paperbacks for 50¢? I may even spring for a DVD or two of a movie I’ll want to watch several times. I can even get one of those great canvas tote bags for $20.00 and fill it up, something that’s not hard to do with the hundreds of choices for adults and all the choices for kids. I can get some books that have looked interesting but I didn’t want to spend over $20.00 but now I can get for 50 cents or $1.00 and no due date for returning.

Since they are open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., I can even take in the craft fair across the street in the park at the same time. I know they will use the money to help out the library with special programs and feel good about that while I’m saving. What a deal!
