Last weekend, the Village of Belleville had the privilege of hosting the Badger Trail Races Ultra-Marathon. More than 500 athletes were registered for this inaugural event. The Belleville Police Department assisted with security and traffic control for the participants. What a great success, and plans are now underway for races in May and August 2020. Registration for both of these events start on September 1st.

On Saturday August 10, Scott Kummer and Adam Benkers, from Ten Junk Miles Racing, presented Chief Eichelkraut with a $1,000 donation to the Shop with a Cop program. This donation will go a long way to help provide kids in our school district an opportunity to buy gifts for family this holiday season.

Belleville Police Chief Bill Eichelkraut said, "We are very grateful for this generous donation and look forward to their future events."
