The Wisconsin 4-H Foundation announced recently that AgCountry Farm Credit Services was honored once again as a major partner and contributor at the 2018 Wisconsin 4-H Hall of Fame Ceremony and Gala, which took place in November of 2018.

"At AgCountry Farm Credit Services, we see 4-H as a stepping stone to many leadership opportunities," says Marc Knisely, CEO at AgCountry. "As a former 4-H member myself, I know the importance of the programs and leadership experiences that 4-H provides to our young people. We are proud to invest resources to help grow young leaders through 4-H."

AgCountry FCS provides credit and financial services products for farmers, ranchers and agribusiness. You can find out more about AgCountry FCS at their website, http://www.AgCountry.com.

"We are truly grateful for the continued support of generous partners like AgCountry FCS," adds Brenda Scheider, Executive Director for the Wisconsin 4-H Foundation. "AgCountry helps 4H create cutting-edge, relevant programs for young people to learn real-world skills that will prepare them for the challenges of today and tomorrow, moving communities, the state, our country and the world forward in ways no other youth organization can. We value the partnership from year to year."

4-H, the youth development program of UW-Extension, Cooperative Extension, is one of the largest and oldest statewide youth organizations in Wisconsin, offering a wide variety of programs in both urban and rural settings. From the 4-H activities in the city of Milwaukee to the 4-H clubs in Bayfield County, 4-H is making a positive impact on our young people throughout the state. Nearly 150,000 youth participate in the Wisconsin 4-H program, and more than 22,000 volunteers support the program. AgCountry helps support all their efforts.

Since 1914, Wisconsin 4-H has helped young people develop the skills they need to meet the demands of our complex and ever-changing world. 4-H has grown from a rich history of agricultural clubs that helped the University of Wisconsin-Extension connect families to research-based advancements in farming technology and techniques. Today's 4-H still boasts strong programs in agriculture and animal science and has grown to include science, leadership, healthy living and communications programming that will help Wisconsin youth build a healthier and more prosperous future.

The Wisconsin 4-H Foundation, based in Madison, Wisconsin, provides essential funding for 4-H programs throughout Wisconsin. By partnering with individuals, corporations and foundations, the Foundation supports various 4-H leadership, development, and community-building activities throughout the state.
