2019 Dairy Day Cattle Show Results

The 2019 Green County Dairy Days Cattle Show concluded on Saturday, June 15th, with enormous success. This year's show was hosted by the Browntown Community, co-chaired by Dean Reeson and Mike Marean, and the show took place at the Green County Fairgrounds in Monroe, Wisconsin. There was a great turnout of spectators and sponsors to cheer on the 37 youth from different counties who came out to participate.

Results of the 2019 event are as follows: Topping the Registered Holstein Show was Emma Hendrickson (Dayton Dairylanders) receiving the Grand Champion award with her Spring Yearling. In addition, Cole Mahlkuch (Juda Jolly Juniors) received Reserve Champion and Emma Hendrickson (Dayton Dairylanders) received Honorable Mention with her winter calf. In the Registered Brown Swiss category, Cole Xander (Oregon FFA) received Grand Champion while Natalie Roe (Washington Center) received Reserve Champion and Nicholas Roe (Washington Center) received Honorable Mention. For the Grade All Breeds category, Reese Speth (Dayton Dairylanders) took home the Grand Champion award while Crystal Meighan (Monroe FFA) received Reserve Champion and Lilly Clason (Cheese Country Clovers) received Honorable Mention. In the Registered Any Other Breeds category, Sarah Blumer (Monticello FFA) was named Grand Champion, Lauren Henningfield (Ashton Go-Getters) received Reserve Champion and Kennedy Zimmerman (Next Generation) took home Honorable Mention.

Leading the showmanship category in grade 3 & 4 was Ava Hendrickson (Dayton Dairylanders), Allyson Judd (Dayton Dairylanders) in second, and Gwen Nipple (Dougherty Creek) in third. In grades 5 & 6 were Alex Roe (Washington Center) in first, Taylor Ferguson (Moundsview Mountaineers) in second, and Gracin Speich (Plymouth) coming third. In grades 7 & 8 Emma Hendrickson (Dayton Dairylanders) took first with Nicholas Roe (Washington Center) in second, and Deven Gilson (York) in third. For grade 9 Sarah Brokopp (Monticello FFA) topped out the class, with Aaron Makos (Spring Grove Honest Workers) in second, and Logan Bauman (Monticello FFA) in third. In grades 10 & 11 CJ Kamholz (Juda Jolly Juniors) came in first, Sarah Blumer (Monticello FFA) came in second, and Eva Van Dyk (Young Americans) came in third. And finally, in grade 12 & up, Hailey Raymond (New Glarus FFA) came in first with Cole Xander (Oregon FFA) in second and Kyle Brugger (Monroe FFA) following in third.
