Dairy Queen Crowned in Monticello
June 20, 2019

Sue Moen
Monticello's crowning was held on Friday, June 14, at Zwingli UCC in Monticello. Rylee Disch, daughter of Ryan and Courtney Disch, was crowned 2019-2020 Monticello Dairy Queen.
Hello, my name is Rylee Disch, I am the 2019-2020 Monticello Dairy Queen. I am the daughter of Ryan and Courtney Disch. I have two brothers, Cory and Ryder. In the fall I will be a junior at Monticello High School. I have been a member of the Monticello FFA since 7th grade. I was elected to serve as the Parliamentarian for the 2019-2020 school year. I am also a member of the Police Explorers program. Since November 2018, I have been a part of the McFarland Police Explorers post.
I enjoy spending time on my grandpa's dairy farm. I like milking cows and doing chores with my grandpa and my two uncles. Most days, my 91-year-old great-grandpa comes to the farm and helps, then it is four generations working together. My cousin shows Brown Swiss at fair, and I occasionally get the chance to help her work with her animals. With my experience working on the farm and involvement with FFA I will be able to contribute plenty of knowledge to the Green County Dairy Queen program.
Thank you, Rylee Disch
