Annual Green County Master Gardener's Plant Sale

May 9, 2019

The Green County Wisconsin Master Gardeners Association will be conducting their annual plant sale from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., on Saturday, May 18. The plant sale is an opportunity for area residents to purchase hardy zone 4 perennials, herbs and annual plants that have been grown locally by Extension Master Gardener volunteers. Started vegetable plants, houseplants and unique plants will all be available, as well as several handcrafted garden use items.

The Green County Master Gardeners Association uses the proceeds from this plant sale to distribute scholarships to Green County area youth who are enrolled, or planning to enroll, in secondary education in a horticulture related field of study. Funds are also used for other Master Gardener Educational Events including seminars, bus tours, or garden events. The plant sale will be held at a NEW LOCATION this year, the Green County Fairgrounds, Barn 7, 2600 10th Street, Monroe.
